Section 54
Disposition versions
54. Every person who contravenes section 4.5 or 6, the second, third or fourth paragraph of section 8, section 10 or 11, the fifth paragraph of section 13, section 26 or the first or third paragraph of section 38, commits an offence and is liable, in the case of a natural person, to a fine of $1,000 to $100,000 or, in other cases, to a fine of $3,000 to $600,000.
54. Every person who contravenes section 4.3, 4.4, 6, 6.1 or 7, the second, third or fourth paragraph of section 8, section 10, 11 or 12, the fifth paragraph of section 13, section 26 or the first or third paragraph of section 38, commits an offence and is liable, in the case of a natural person, to a fine of $1,000 to $100,000 or, in other cases, to a fine of $3,000 to $600,000.
54. Every person who
(1) contravenes section 6 or 7, the second or third paragraph of section 8, or section 10, 11, 26, 32, 38, 45, 51 or 53.0.5,
(2) fails to provide the notice of intention or the information or documents prescribed by section 58 or the second paragraph of section 59,
commits an offence and is liable, in the case of a natural person, to a fine of $1,000 to $100,000 or, in other cases, to a fine of $3,000 to $600,000.
54. Every person who
(1) contravenes section 6 or 7, the second or third paragraph of section 8, or section 10, 11, 26, 32, 38, 45 or 51,
(2) fails to provide the notice of intention or the information or documents prescribed by section 58 or the second paragraph of section 59,
commits an offence and is liable, in the case of a natural person, to a fine of $1,000 to $100,000 or, in other cases, to a fine of $3,000 to $600,000.
54. Every person who contravenes any of the provisions of sections 2 to 5, section 7, the first and second paragraphs of section 8, sections 13 to 21, 23 to 28, 31, 33, 34 and 37, the first paragraph of section 38 and sections 40, 44, 46, 47, 50, 52, 53, 58 and 59 commits an offence and is liable,
(1) in the case of a natural person, to a fine of $2,000 to $25,000;
(2) in the case of a legal person, to a fine of $5,000 to $250,000.
